The EXCALIBUR® EXTENDED pallet layer cutting machine is distinguished by its layer positioning plate, which can be adjusted to the constraints of the gripper arm, offering a highly adaptable solution that can be integrated into a variety of automatic palletising lines. The machine is equally at home in poly-articulated robotic palletisers, high-level layer palletisers, low-level layer palletisers, bag palletisers, case palletisers and many others.
EXTENDED model. For robotised lines.
The EXTENDED model is delivered with a conveyor length specifically adapted to the needs of your project. Installed astride the protective barriers of the robotic lines, EXCALIBUR® brings the die-cut format to the foot of the robot. The operator can load the reel onto EXCALIBUR® while remaining outside the robotic cell, thus avoiding any line stoppages linked to the replenishment of consumables.
EXCALIBUR's EXTENDED 800 and EXTENDED 1200 models represent state-of-the-art technology in cutting machines for palletising inserts. Suitable for handling reels up to 800 mm and 1200 mm wide respectively, these models stand out for their ability to work with reel diameters of up to 1000 mm and offer cutting flexibility ranging from 600 to 1220 mm. Backed by a 500,000-cut or one-year guarantee, these advanced systems can operate stand-alone or automatically, and can store up to 15 different part numbers. Their fast cutting speed of 10 seconds per format, or 6 formats per minute, is ideal for demanding production environments. They are designed to operate on supply voltages from 115 V to 230 V, meeting a wide range of electrical standards. Each machine is equipped with an HMI and an electrical cabinet, ensuring ease of use and maintenance. CE certification confirms compliance with European safety standards. Configuration options include UNO, DUO and QUATTRO versions, offering great adaptability to specific palletising needs, from standard to half- and quarter-pallet management.
In the USA and Canada:
EXCALIBUR® offers the EXTENDED 40‘ and EXTENDED 48’ models, specially designed to meet the standards and requirements of these markets. These machines handle 40‘ and 48’ reels, with a corresponding reel diameter, enabling lengths from 24‘ to 48’ to be cut. Like their European counterparts, they offer a 500,000-cut or one-year guarantee, stand-alone or automatic operation, and the ability to store 15 different part numbers. With an identical cutting rate of 10 seconds per format, these models ensure efficient, continuous production. Operating at 115 V to suit local electrical networks, they are also equipped with an HMI and an electrical box for simplified operation. UL certified, they comply with North American safety standards. UNO, DUO, and QUATTRO options are available, allowing flexibility in managing full pallets, half-pallets, and quarter-pallets, making these machines essential for companies looking to optimise their palletising process.

Demand is changing, and consumers no longer want to remain mere spectators of the deteriorating climate. They feel involved in the act of purchasing and its consequences for the environment.
The rules are changing, the environmental shift has been taken and is part of a regulatory and fiscal framework, the movement is unstoppable and markets are closing to the least green companies.
The supply side is changing, companies are reducing their environmental footprint, we are learning to consume fewer resources and less energy, to generate less greenhouse gas and waste, and to create products that can be recycled.
Over several phases of the product life cycle. We can help you to sort waste more quickly and recover it where appropriate.

What are the results of this continuous improvement approach?
The life cycle analysis has enabled us to highlight the 5 items that have the greatest impact, namely :
raw materials, particularly paper
water consumption
electricity and gas consumption. and waste reduction.
CGP INDUSTRIES is a pioneer in the environmental approach with the sorting and recovery of our waste, the introduction of eco-design and the completion of an Energy Diagnostic and Carbon Footprint for the site.
CGP INDUSTRIES continues to improve its environmental performance, focusing on energy savings:
• 315,000 kWh/year thanks to the installation of 6 Electronic Variable Speed Drives on our furnace and compressor motors. • 26,000 kWh/year thanks to its policy of optimising lighting in the workshops by replacing old luminaires with ferromagnetic ballasts with new luminaires with electronic ballasts. • 2,200,000 kWh/year thanks to the launch of a heat recovery project, using the hot air discharged by the furnaces to preheat incoming air. • 14% less gas used thanks to a reduction in furnace extraction rates.
Areas for future improvement :
172,000 kWh/year by installing destratifiers throughout the workshop.

AN ECO-DESIGNED RANGE: STABULON® ANTI-SLIP SPACER PADS
Why is the STABULON® anti-slip spacer range eco-designed?
The Green Touch is not a niche, it's a profitable and winning value proposition that we'd like to share with you.
Greener, but not more expensive! It's obvious.
Greener, but no worse! All our products perform identically to products before the approach.
For as many people as possible ... our products are a service to you, whether you are sensitive to environmental arguments or not. They enable you to reduce your costs, cut your packaging consumption and reduce your waste.
Visibly green! To reinforce our commitment to our planet, we have created an Eco-LOGO on all the products in the range, attesting to our efforts to improve environmental performance at several stages in the product life cycle. Thanks to our Eco-logo, you can identify the eco-designed approach of the product and communicate.
Different in use! Thanks to us, all products bearing the Eco-logo go straight into the paper bin, so we can help you sort your waste more quickly and recycle your waste where appropriate. For the rest, all the functional and application characteristics have remained unchanged.
