CGP COATING INNOVATION has created STABUDRUMS®, an anti-slip corrugated board specifically designed to secure the transport of drums and jerrycans, often associated with the carriage of hazardous materials.
This innovative solution combines the compression of the corrugated board to increase resistance to sliding at the foot of the pallet with an extra non-slip coating that improves the coefficient of friction and enables a tipping angle of 32° to be achieved. STABUDRUMS® complies with the International Codes of Practice for Cargo Securing and provides double security, meeting regulatory requirements for the safe transport of containers.

Used by operators on palletising lines, STABUDRUMS® is positioned between the pallet and the 1st level of products.
Thanks to its extreme coefficient of friction, it works equally well on wood and plastic pallets.
The STABUDRUMS® can be used for manual palletising or with a robot gripper on an automated line.
Thanks to the thickness of the corrugated cardboard, STABUDRUMS® also offers ideal protection at the foot of the pallet to prevent damage to your drums and jerrycans.

Transporting/loading/unloading products in drums or jerry cans is often likened to transporting dangerous goods, which are subject to specific regulations.
Particular attention must be paid to lashing to prevent damage to the products being shipped, and to handling to prevent the products being damaged by being dragged along the ground, knocked or handled roughly.
STABUDRUMS® is a unique combination of double-face corrugated board and an anti-slip coating offering an extreme coefficient of friction, and is the perfect answer to these problems: used in addition to stretch film, it limits the use of other secondary or tertiary packaging, and guarantees the integrity of palletised products, while optimising pallet stability during internal handling (from the palletising line to the stretch wrapping machine or storage area).
