  • STABULON® Anti-slip compact cardboard format
The compact cardboard sheet coated with an anti-slip solution provides high rigidity and strength. Specially recommended for palletising heavy loads that require a layer-by-layer load transfer and for optimising load stability. The compact formats are resistant to perforation, punching and shearing.
    STABULON 450, STABULON 600, STABULON 800.

  • STABULON® Non-slip corrugated board sheet
STABULON® anti-slip corrugated board has been specially developed for packaging with an irregular surface and a low contact area with the liner. The board provides good load distribution and high rigidity.
The anti-slip corrugated board format allows the irregularities to fit within the cardboard sheet and stabilise the packaged products on the pallet. The board is highly resistant to perforation, punching and shearing.

implementation

Our extensive range covers all types of application: manual palletising, palletising using a High Level or Low Level palletising system, or robotic palletising.

Depending on the case, the layer pads are positioned :

  • at the bottom or foot of the pallet to prevent rising damp, protect the products from the roughness of the pallet and stabilise the first layers of products, to ensure the link between the wooden or plastic pallet and the load.
  • between layers of palletised products to increase the rigidity and stability of the products and possibly increase the height of products packaged on pallets.
  • on top of the products in the case of stacked pallets, to prevent slipping and rubbing, and to protect the last layer of products from damage by the wooden pallet and from dust and bad weather.

key benefits

Packaging optimisation tool :

  • Reduction and optimisation of packaging and logistics costs, in particular through reduced use of stretch film.
  • Reduced damage during transport or internal conveyance.
  • Reduced work-related accidents on packaging lines, in storage warehouses and during loading and unloading operations.
  • Optimising palletising layouts.
  • Optimisation of storage and transport areas.
  • Reduction in secondary or tertiary packaging costs.
  • Secondary packaging can be eliminated for simplified de-palletising.
  • Impeccable presentation of pallets of finished products on supermarket shelves to the end consumer.
  • 100% recyclable and 100% reusable.
  • Hydrophobic product with natural water-resistant properties.

benefits

  • Avoids horizontal displacement of product layers, as the force required for this displacement depends on the coefficient of friction between the palletised product and the layer pad.
  • Keeps products in place during movement phases when pallets are subjected to lateral forces due to inertia.
  • In the case of column palletising, avoids the tulip effect by structuring the pallet and ensuring cohesion between product columns.
  • In the case of cross or mixed palletising, improves load distribution and prevents products collapsing into the stacks.
  • Ensures that loads that tend to tip over (bottles, packs, etc.) are returned to an upright position.
  • Helps secure stacked pallets. When stacked, the mass of the top pallet is applied to the layers of the pallet below.
  • The anti-slip insert prevents the layers from slipping off each other. Any deviation between the top and bottom of the pallet creates an imbalance in the pallet below, which will then bear the full weight of the pallet above.
